Nets 109, Raptors 93: Jarrett Jack scored 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Alan Anderson scored a season-high 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting as visiting Brooklyn sped past Toronto.

Joe Johnson added 12 points and seven assists for the Nets, who won their second straight game. Deron Williams added 11 points and six assists in his second game since returning from a rib injury.

Terrence Ross scored a season-best 23 points and matched a season high with five 3-pointers and Kyle Lowry added 13 points and 10 assists for the Raptors, who lost their second consecutive contest after winning their previous six. DeMar DeRozan scored 13 points and was ejected after being called for a flagrant 2 foul with 1:01 remaining while Patrick Patterson added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Anderson scored the first five points of the fourth quarter to give Brooklyn a nine-point lead and the Raptors were still within nine after Patterson’s basket with 8:18 left. The Nets answered with 10 straight points – capped by back-to-back 3-pointers by Bojan Bogdanovic – to stretch the lead to 101-82 with 5:05 remaining.

Lowry had 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting in the first half as the Raptors led 51-49 at the break. Brooklyn used an 11-2 run in the third quarter to open up a 10-point lead before settling for a 76-72 edge entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Brooklyn was 20-of-23 from the free-throw line, including 12-of-13 in the fourth quarter. … Raptors reserve SG Lou Williams was 1-of-11 from the field and is 2-of-23 over the past two games. … Nets C Brook Lopez had just eight points on 4-of-14 shooting after averaging 25.7 points over the previous three games.
