Suns 124, Mavericks 115: Goran Dragic scored 25 points and Gerald Green added 22 off the bench as host Phoenix sidestepped Dallas.

Alex Len scored 17 points, Eric Bledsoe contributed 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds and P.J. Tucker added 15 as the Suns won their fourth straight game. Green was 6-of-9 from 3-point range and Phoenix was 13-of-33 overall.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points and Tyson Chandler added a season-best 22 points to go with 14 rebounds for the Mavericks, who lost their second consecutive contest. Charlie Villanueva scored a season-high 18 points, Monta Ellis tallied 15 points and Rajon Rondo had 13 points and eight assists.

The Suns were up 107-91 after Green’s hoop with 5:24 to play before the Mavericks went on a 9-4 run to cut their deficit to 11 with 4:01 remaining. Bledsoe answered with a short jumper and a 3-pointer to make it 116-100 and Dallas got as close as seven points before Phoenix held off the charge.

The Mavericks led 39-30 after Rondo’s basket with 6:05 left in the half before the Suns went on a 23-6 burst. Phoenix led 53-45 at the break and then made five 3-pointers while pouring in 36 third-quarter points en route to an 89-74 lead entering the final stanza.
