Bulls 99, Wizards 91: Derrick Rose scored eight of his 25 points in the final three minutes as visiting Chicago downed Washington to earn its fourth straight win.

Pau Gasol added 18 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots for the Bulls, who have won seven of their last eight. Aaron Brooks recorded 13 points and six assists off the bench while Joakim Noah pulled down 11 rebounds for Chicago, which won the battle of the boards 52-41.

John Wall collected 18 points, nine assists and five rebounds for the Wizards, who have dropped two straight at home. Bradley Beal scored 15 points and Marcin Gortat chipped in 14 to go along with 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for Washington.

Rose scored from short range to put the Bulls in front 86-75 before Wall scored 10 points during a 12-0 run to give the Wizards an 87-86 lead with 3:44 remaining. Rose scored six straight points as part of an 8-0 spurt to put the Bulls back on top 94-87 and they were not troubled the rest of the way.

Beal connected from beyond the arc to even the score at 32 before Rose nailed a fadeaway 3-pointer to beat the halftime buzzer to put the Bulls ahead 46-40. Rose knocked down two straight jumpers to extend the lead to nine midway through the third quarter before Paul Pierce and Beal drained back-to-back triples to cut the deficit to 64-61.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bulls went 5-of-17 from 3-point range while the Wizards finished 5-of-9. … Chicago SG Kirk Hinrich sat out with a strained left hamstring. … Wall has dished out nine or more assists in 10 of his last 12 games.
