Bucks 96, Suns 94: Brandon Knight scored a team-high 20 points and Khris Middleton added 14 after banking in a 3-pointer at the buzzer as visiting Milwaukee handed Phoenix its sixth straight loss.

Zaza Pachulia contributed eight of his 13 points in the fourth quarter, O.J. Mayo scored 12, Jerryd Bayless had 11 and Jared Dudley added 10 for the Bucks. Milwaukee rookie Jabari Parker recorded eight points before leaving the game with a sprained left knee in the third quarter and did not return.

Markieff Morris led the way with 25 points and Isaiah Thomas added 20 off the bench for the Suns, who led by as much as 13 in the second half. Gerald Green scored 12 points on 3-of-18 shooting and Eric Bledsoe added 11 for Phoenix, which turned the ball over 23 times.

Thomas scored 11 in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter to help push the Suns’ lead to 83-73 before the Bucks ran off the next nine. Dudley drained a 3-pointer with 28.6 seconds left for a 91-90 lead, Morris answered with a basket and Knight made a runner with 7.2 seconds to go before Morris’ foul-line jumper with 3.5 ticks remaining put Phoenix up 94-93 prior to Middleton’s heroics.

Morris made 6-of-7 from the field and scored 19 points in the first half as the Suns led by as many as 14, but the Bucks scored seven of the last nine to pull within 53-44 at intermission. The lead was 13 before Milwaukee scored 14 of the final 20 in the third quarter – seven by Bayless – to close the gap to 72-67.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phoenix was without leading scorer G Goran Dragic (16.1) for the second straight game due to a lower back strain. … Milwaukee’s streak of nine straight games with at least 100 points scored – its longest since 1991 – came to an end. … Suns C Alex Len made his first start of the season and fourth in his two-year career, replacing C Miles Plumlee and producing six points, six rebounds and three blocks in 19 minutes.
