Lakers 100, Timberwolves 94: Kobe Bryant scored 26 points to pass Michael Jordan on the NBA's all-time scoring list and lead visiting Los Angeles past Minnesota.

Carlos Boozer collected 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Lakers, who have won a season-high three straight games. Bryant (32,310) moved past Jordan for third on the all-time list and trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone.

Shabazz Muhammad matched his career high with 28 points and rookie Andrew Wiggins added 16 to lead the Timberwolves, who have lost eight of their last nine with several key players sidelined by injuries. Corey Brewer had 10 points and a career-high nine assists and rookie Zach LaVine also scored 10 for Minnesota.

Minnesota forward Robbie Hummel's 3-pointer tied it at 73 early in the fourth quarter before Boozer scored four straight points to start a 7-0 run that put Los Angeles back in control. The Timberwolves pulled even again at 94 on a pair of Wiggins free throws with 1:22 remaining, but Bryant answered with a contested 3-pointer with 1:01 left and closed it out at the line.

The Lakers' lead was as large as seven points in the first half after Bryant was fouled outside the arc and made all three free throws with 3:58 left in the second quarter. Los Angeles led 49-44 at the break and pushed the margin to 64-54 on Wesley Johnson's 3-pointer with 5:22 left in the third quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After Bryant tied and passed Jordan with a pair of free throws with 5:24 left in the second quarter, the game was stopped while the Timberwolves honored Bryant, and owner Glen Taylor presented him with the game ball. … The Timberwolves dropped to 1-17 when allowing 100 or more points. … Minnesota PG Mo Williams missed his sixth consecutive game with back spasms.
