Wizards 104, Clippers 96: Bradley Beal scored a season-high 29 points and John Wall reached 10 assists for a personal-best seventh straight game as Washington snapped the Los Angeles Clippers' long winning streak.

Wall had 10 points and 11 assists and Marcin Gortat added 18 points for the Wizards, who have won seven of eight overall and improved to 11-2 at home for the first time in franchise history. Paul Pierce and Kris Humphries scored 11 apiece and Washington connected on 9-of-16 from beyond the arc.

Chris Paul had 19 points to leads six players in double figures but committed a season-high six turnovers as the Clippers had their nine-game winning streak snapped. Blake Griffin was held to 14 points and two rebounds as Los Angeles dropped just its second game in the last 12 against Washington.

The Wizards knocked down 6-of-8 3-pointers in the first half, including two within 55 seconds by Beal and Wall that provided Washington a 22-11 edge with 4:46 left in the first quarter. Los Angeles closed within 45-40 on a dunk by DeAndre Jordan off a nice feed from Paul before Pierce, Beal and Wall connected from long range in the last 96 seconds to rebuild a 57-42 halftime lead.

The Clippers scored the first six points of the second half but Gortat and Beal combined for 19 in the quarter as the Wizards led by as many as 18 and took a 80-67 lead into the fourth. The Clippers pulled within nine on several occasions, but two free throws and a transition layup by Beal got the lead back to 98-85 with 3:57 left and the Wizards held on.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wall posted his 14th double-double, one more than Paul for the NBA lead among guards. …The Wizards improved to 13-0 when holding opponents under 100 points. …The win was Wall's first in seven head-to-head matchups against Paul.
