Warriors 114, Heat 97:
Stephen Curry buried a season-high eight 3-pointers en route to a season-high 40 points as Golden State knocked off host Miami for its sixth straight win.

Klay Thompson added 24 points and Harrison Barnes collected 12 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who shot 57.3 percent from the field. Draymond Green had 11 points and Andrew Bogut grabbed 10 rebounds as Golden State extended the best start in franchise history to 11-2.

Chris Bosh recorded 26 points and nine rebounds for the Heat, who dropped to 4-5 at home. Luol Deng scored 16 points and Mario Chalmers struggled to 14 on 4-of-17 shooting for Miami.

Shabazz Napier hit three free throws to give the Heat a 95-93 lead with 7:24 left but Miami went nearly five minutes without scoring as Thompson hit a pair of 3-pointers in a 14-0 burst for the Warriors. The Heat got the deficit down to 10 points but Curry found Green for a dunk and drove the length of the floor for a three-point play as Golden State put it away.

The Warriors shot 61.5 percent from the field in the first half, led by Curry’s 6-of-9, but went into the break down 62-61 as Bosh’s 17 points kept Miami afloat. Curry’s 3-pointer gave Golden State an 86-80 edge with 2:18 left in the third and the Warriors went into the final period with a five-point edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Curry also handed out seven assists for his 51st career game with at least five 3-pointers and five assists, passing Ray Allen for the most in history. … The Warriors have yet to play a game decided by fewer than five points. … Miami G Dwyane Wade (hamstring) sat out his seventh straight game.
