Heat 88, Spurs 86: Chris Bosh hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to cap a 23-point effort as visiting Miami defeated San Antonio despite playing without LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Ray Allen added 14 points for the Heat, who won for the 29th time in 30 games and moved three games ahead of the Spurs for best record in the NBA. James sat out with an ailing hamstring and Wade missed the game with an ankle injury.

Tim Duncan had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Kawhi Leonard added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, who went 0-2 against Miami this season. Tony Parker missed a tying shot attempt at the buzzer.

The Spurs had an 86-83 lead after Duncan’s basket with 1:21 remaining but didn’t score again. Norris Cole hit two free throws with 32.1 seconds left before a defensive mix-up on the last possession left Bosh wide open and he drained his career-high third 3-pointer of the contest.

Miami trailed 45-40 at halftime before shooting 59.1 percent from the field in the third quarter to take a 71-64 lead. Allen’s 3-pointer pushed the lead to 10 before San Antonio rallied back and tied the contest at 80 on Parker’s basket with 4:30 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami has won 15 of its last 16 road games. … Spurs G Manu Ginobili (hamstring) sat out after being injured against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. … Heat G Mario Chalmers (ankle) missed his second straight game.
