Nuggets 109, Nets 87: Rookie Evan Fournier scored a career-high 19 points to lead six players in double figures and Denver extended its home winning streak to 18 games with a rout of road-weary Brooklyn.

Wilson Chandler had 16 points and Kosta Koufos and Corey Brewer chipped in 13 apiece for Denver, which improved to 33-3 at the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets took over sole possession of third place in the Western Conference, percentage points ahead of the the Los Angeles Clippers and a game ahead of Memphis.

Brooklyn fell to 4-2 on its eight-game, 13-day road trip despite Deron Williams’ team-high 19 points. The Nets trailed 55-38 at the half after being held to four field goals in the second quarter, when they were outscored 29-15.

Andre Iguodala hit a 3-pointer to put Denver ahead 80-63 with 20 seconds left in the third quarter, and the Nuggets rested their starters in the final period.

Andray Blatche scored 16 points and Reggie Evans had 15 and 16 rebounds for the Nets, who shot 40.5 percent and were outscored 62-46 in the paint. Brooklyn has lost six straight at the Pepsi Center.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nets G Joe Johnson missed his third straight game due to a right quadriceps contusion. … Nuggets G Ty Lawson is listed as day-to-day after sitting out the game with a plantar fascia tear in his right heel. …Brooklyn missed 18 of its 36 shots from the foul line and committed 21 turnovers.
