Timberwolves 101, Thunder 93: Nikola Pekovic led the way with 22 points and 15 rebounds as host Minnesota stunned Oklahoma City.

Ricky Rubio added 17 points and Chase Budinger scored 13 off the bench for the Timberwolves, who earned a split of the four-game season series with the Thunder.

Kevin Durant scored a game-high 36 points and Russell Westbrook had 18 and nine assists as Oklahoma City had a three-game winning streak come to an end.

Durant’s dunk with 10:52 left in the game drew the Thunder within 82-79 but Oklahoma City went the next 5:51 without a field goal as Minnesota stretched it out. Cunningham and Pekovic combined for eight points to help push the lead to 92-81.

Serge Ibaka finally snapped the drought with a jumper and Durant scored four points to cut it to five. But the Timberwolves did not fold, hitting six free throws in the final 1:06 to close out the victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ibaka finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for the Thunder. … Oklahoma City led the league in scoring average entering Friday but has been held under 100 in three of its last five games. … The Timberwolves have won three of their last five games and will play four of their next five at home.
