Clippers 105, Hornets 91: Blake Griffin scored 19 points and Chris Paul added 16 and nine assists as visiting Los Angeles halted New Orleans' three-game winning streak.

Caron Butler and Jamal Crawford recorded 13 points apiece while Chauncey Billups returned from a groin injury to score 11 for the Clippers, who clinched a winning road record (21-15) for the first time in club history and matched the franchise mark for wins in a season (49-23).

Eric Gordon scored a game-high 24 points and Anthony Davis chipped in 19 and nine rebounds for the Hornets, who are 3-2 on their seven-game homestand.

Los Angeles took a one-point lead into the second quarter, but New Orleans began the period with an 11-3 run to move ahead 37-30. The Clippers used a 10-2 spurt later in the second to jump in front, and Butler and Billups each sank a pair of 3-pointers to put Los Angeles ahead 56-48 at the half.

The Hornets battled back to get within two as Gordon and Davis combined for 22 points in the third quarter. But Los Angeles maintained control in the fourth, outscoring New Orleans 26-14 en route to victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Five different players made multiple 3-pointers for the Clippers, with Billups and Crawford sinking three apiece. ... The road team won for just the second time in the last nine meetings between the clubs. ... Billups had missed three games with a strained right groin, while Gordon and Greivis Vasquez each sat out one contest with sore ankles. Vasquez was scoreless in 28 minutes, going 0-for-2 from the floor.
