Warriors 93, Hornets 72: Stephen Curry led the way with 30 points and seven rebounds as visiting Golden State pulled away from New Orleans.

David Lee added 20 points and 11 boards and Klay Thompson scored 13 for the Warriors, who have won back-to-back road games for the first time since Jan. 28-29.

Ryan Anderson contributed 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench and Greivis Vasquez collected 14 points and nine assists as the Hornets dropped their fourth straight game.

Golden State took control in the second quarter by asserting itself on the defensive end. The Warriors held New Orleans to one field goal over the final 5:47 of the period and took off on a 15-2 burst to take a 45-36 lead into the break.

Anderson brought the Hornets back within 66-59 with four straight points late in the third but Thompson drained a 3-pointer and Golden State ended up carrying an eight-point lead into the final frame.

Vasquez’s 3-pointer with 5:50 left had New Orleans within 80-72 before the Warriors again used their defense to key a big run. The Hornets missed their final nine shots as Golden State closed the game out with a 13-0 burst.

GAME NOTEBOOK: New Orleans rookie F Anthony Davis scored 16 points, the sixth straight game he has reached that mark. … Warriors C Andrew Bogut collected eight points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks while playing 31 minutes. Bogut has played at least 30 minutes on back-to-back nights for the first time this season after playing 33 at Houston on Sunday. … Golden State moved two games ahead of idle Houston for the No. 6 spot in the West. … Curry went 6-of-9 from 3-point range and is 11-for-20 in the past two games.
