Nets 119, Pistons 82: Deron Williams scored 31 points in 28 minutes and Brooklyn opened its franchise-long road trip by handing the Pistons their ninth straight loss.

Brook Lopez had 18 points and Andray Blatche added 15 for Brooklyn, which led by 13 points after the first quarter and 31 heading into the final period. The Nets began their eight-game, 17-day road trip by shooting 54.2 percent and recording their second-largest victory this season.

Detroit lost its sixth straight at home while missing 17 of 18 shots from 3-point range. Will Bynum came off the bench to lead the Pistons with 18 points and Greg Monroe chipped in 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting to go along with seven rebounds.

Williams, who made 10 of his 18 shots and rested in the fourth quarter, scored in double figures for the 19th consecutive game. He had 14 points in the third quarter when the Nets outscored Detroit 31-14.

Reggie Evans grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for Brooklyn, which improved to 23-4 against sub-.500 teams. Detroit remained winless (0-9) in March and has lost all three games against the Nets this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pistons coach Lawrence Frank returned after missing the last six games to be with his ailing wife. … Nets G Keith Bogans (ankle) and F Kris Humphries (back) both missed the game with minor injuries. … Pistons G Jose Calderon played eight minutes before leaving in the first half with flu-like symptoms.
