Thunder 117, Magic 104: Kevin Durant had 26 points and nine rebounds and Russell Westbrook scored 23 as host Oklahoma City held off Orlando.

Serge Ibaka had 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Kevin Martin scored 15 points for the Thunder, who won for the 10th time in 12 games and moved within one game of first-place San Antonio in the Western Conference.

Jameer Nelson scored 26 points, Nikola Vucevic had 21 points and 14 rebounds, Arron Afflalo scored 20 and Tobias Harris chipped in 19 points for the Magic.

Orlando trailed by 27 points in the second quarter before putting on an impressive rally. The Magic trimmed the deficit to 103-99 after a basket by Afflalo with 6:20 to play before Oklahoma City thwarted the charge and closed with a 14-5 burst.

The Thunder led 39-26 after the opening quarter and pushed the lead to 57-30 on two free throws by Martin with 7:41 left in the half. Orlando recovered to pull within 73-56 at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kendrick Perkins grabbed 12 rebounds to help Oklahoma City to a 52-33 edge on the boards. … Nelson made five of the Magic’s seven 3-pointers. … The two teams meet again in Orlando next Friday.
