Nuggets 111, Timberwolves 88: Ty Lawson tied his season high with 32 points to power host Denver to its eighth consecutive victory.

Corey Brewer had 15 points and Danilo Gallinari and Andre Iguodala scored 11 apiece as the Nuggets extended their home winning streak to 13 games and tied Miami for the league's best home mark at 28-3.

Mickael Gelabale scored 19 points and J.J. Barea had 15 off the bench for injury-riddled Minnesota, which lost for the seventh time in eight games and fell to 1-13 in its last 14 road games.

The Timberwolves had won the last two meetings this season, including one in Denver, and were trying to make it three straight when they took a three-point lead early in the third quarter.

The Nuggets responded with a 19-4 run and carried an 83-70 lead into the fourth. Minnesota got within nine on a 3-pointer by Barea, but Lawson scored 12 points in a 16-2 burst to push the lead to 101-78.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Iguodala had a solid all-around game with five rebounds, four blocks, three steals and three assists as Denver registered its longest home winning streak since winning 24 straight in 1989. ... Derrick Williams had 13 rebounds and six assists for the Timberwolves, who were denied in their bid to win consecutive games for the first time since mid-December. ... Lawson hit all four of his 3-point attempts as Denver connected on 9 of 17 from long range.
