Celtics 83, Pacers 81: Jeff Green hit a layup with five-tenths of a second left to cap visiting Boston’s game-ending 11-0 run and lift the Celtics over Indiana.

Kevin Garnett hit Green with a pass under the basket for the go-ahead bucket and collected 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Boston. Paul Pierce and Avery Bradley scored 13 points apiece and Green finished with 11 for the Celtics, who have won four straight.

Paul George scored 16 points, David West added 11 points and 16 rebounds and Roy Hibbert chipped in 12 points and 12 boards as the Pacers lost for just the second time in their last nine games.

Boston trailed 68-58 at the beginning of the fourth quarter but held Indiana without a field goal for the first five minutes of the frame to cut it to a one-point deficit. George Hill pulled the Pacers out of the shooting slump with eight straight points and George’s 3-pointer with 4:35 left pushed it back to an 81-72 lead.

The Celtics did not fold and ripped off a 9-0 run to tie it with 1:21 to play. West and Hibbert both missed long jumpers before Boston got the ball back and drew up the final play for Green.
