Thunder 122, Lakers 105: Russell Westbrook had 37 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Durant added 26 points as host Oklahoma City defeated Los Angeles.

Serge Ibaka tallied 13 points and Kevin Martin added 11 for the Thunder, who tied an NBA record with just two turnovers while winning for the fifth time in six games and dropping the Lakers back below .500.

Kobe Bryant left the game for treatment after suffering a right elbow injury in the first quarter but later returned and scored 30 points for his 26th 30-point outing of the season. Steve Nash added 20 points and Metta World Peace scored 16 for Los Angeles.

The Lakers recovered from a 18-point, third-quarter deficit to trail 110-105 on Nash’s 3-pointer with 6:13 to play. Oklahoma City responded with a 12-0 game-ending run as Los Angeles missed its final 10 field-goal attempts.

The Lakers missed their first nine field-goal attempts as Oklahoma City took an early 13-4 lead. The Thunder boosted the lead to 71-55 at halftime and led by 18 early in the third quarter before Los Angeles cut it to eight entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Thunder F Serge Ibaka has been fined $25,000 for hitting Los Angeles Clippers F Blake Griffin just below the belt in Sunday’s game. The foul was also upgraded to a flagrant foul 2. … Lakers C Dwight Howard had 16 rebounds but tallied just six points on 1-of-7 shooting. … Oklahoma City joined the Milwaukee Bucks (April 1, 2006 against Indiana) and Cleveland Cavaliers (March 19, 2009 against Portland) as the only teams to commit just two turnovers in a contest. Los Angeles finished with 16 miscues.
