Heat 97, Timberwolves 81: Dwyane Wade collected 32 points and 10 assists and LeBron James added 20 points and 10 rebounds as visiting Miami won its franchise-record 15th straight game.

Ray Allen scored 13 points off the bench and Chris Bosh had 11 and nine rebounds for the Heat, who eclipsed the 14-game mark set by the 2004-05 team.

Derrick Williams recorded 25 points and 10 rebounds and Ricky Rubio piled up 14 points, eight assists and six steals as Minnesota dropped its sixth straight game.

The Timberwolves pulled to within 71-68 on Alexey Shved’s 3-pointer with 10:15 left but could not hold the momentum. Allen buried a 3-pointer 1 1/2 minutes later and drew a flagrant foul-2 on J.J. Barea, which led to Barea’s ejection and a technical foul on Minnesota coach Rick Adelman.

Allen hit all three free throws and Wade and James made back-to-back baskets two minutes later as the Heat stretched it back out to 83-70 midway through the fourth. Wade found Allen for another 3-pointer with 2:58 left to make it an 18-point gap, and Miami coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Timberwolves were without C Nikola Pekovic (abdomen) for the second straight game and F Andrei Kirilenko (calf) for the third consecutive contest. … The Heat committed 24 turnovers but held Minnesota to 15 points off those miscues. … James received treatment on his left knee after landing awkwardly in Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks but started and played 35 minutes against the Timberwolves.
