Thunder 107, Mavericks 93:
Kevin Durant had 23 points and 10 assists and Russell Westbrook added 22 points as host Oklahoma City swept past Dallas.

Serge Ibaka contributed 17 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks and Jeremy Lamb scored 13 off the bench as the Thunder defeated the Mavericks for the seventh straight time in regular-season play.

Monta Ellis scored 20 points and Jae Crowder and Shawn Marion added 17 apiece for Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki tallied 16 points as the Mavericks dropped to 0-2 on the road.

Oklahoma City led 57-51 and scored the first six points of the third quarter to begin to pull away. Durant’s basket made it a 15-point margin late in the quarter before the Thunder took an 85-75 advantage into the fourth.

Back-to-back baskets by Westbrook gave Oklahoma City a 97-80 edge with 7:07 to play. The Mavericks were within 11 after two free throws by Ellis with 3:04 remaining but Derek Fisher responded with a jumper and the Thunder held on.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Westbrook is averaging 21.5 points in two games since returning from last April’s knee injury. … The teams combined to commit 45 turnovers – 24 by the Thunder. … Mavericks G Vince Carter was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul after elbowing Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams in the face in the third quarter. Adams was called for a technical foul.
