Foye hit four 3-pointers to guide the Jazz to a 47-43 halftime lead, and continued his hot outside shooting in the third quarter. He led off the period with a 3-pointer from the left sideline, then connected from the same spot just over nine minutes later to extend the lead to 15.

Atlanta closed the quarter on an 8-1 run and carried that momentum into the fourth, closing to within a pair on Harris' three-point play with 4:22 remaining. Johnson's running layup put the Hawks ahead, Smith's 18-footer stretched the advantage inside the final minute and Williams put the game away with a long 3-pointer with 29 seconds left.
