Trail Blazers 119, Rockets 117 (OT): Nicolas Batum scored a game-high 35 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 29 while making some key plays in overtime as host Portland posted its second straight win after a four-game skid.

In the extra session, Aldridge made 1 of 2 free throws after being fouled by Omer Asik with 1:21 remaining to give Portland a 117-116 edge. Aldridge then blocked a layup attempt by James Harden and hit a turnaround jumper at the other end to seal the win.

Damian Lillard poured in a career-high 27 points and Wesley Matthews chipped in 15 for the Trail Blazers, who have beaten the Rockets in overtime twice in as many meetings this season.

Harden led six players in double figures with 29 points, Chandler Parsons recorded 19 and 11 rebounds and Asik added 16 and 16 for Houston, which continues its three-game road trip when it visits the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

After a jumper by Jeremy Lin with 3:39 remaining in the third gave Houston a 79-69 lead, Portland scored the final nine points of the quarter and Matthews converted a driving layup 17 seconds into the fourth to put the Trail Blazers ahead. The lead changed four more times until Marcus Morris forced overtime with a 3-pointer with 10.9 seconds to go.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Harden has scored at least 20 points in a career-high four straight games. ... Parsons went 2-of-6 from beyond the arc. He has made at least one 3-pointer in every game this season. ... Lin made it three Rockets with a double-double as he scored 11 points and dished out 11 assists.
