Jazz 113, Mavericks 94: Newcomers Mo Williams and Marvin Williams scored 21 points apiece in their Utah debuts as the Jazz dominated the second half while downing visiting Dallas.

Mo Williams scored eight consecutive points to start an 18-2 run that ended the third quarter as Utah turned a tie game into a 16-point lead entering the final quarter.

Dallas led 63-55 at halftime but faded badly in the third quarter while playing one night after opening the season with a road win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavericks were just 5-of-22 from the field in the quarter and committed six turnovers as Utah outscored Dallas 37-13.

Paul Millsap had 13 points and 15 rebounds for Utah, which had a 61-40 rebounding edge and placed six players in double figures. Randy Foye scored 13 points, Al Jefferson recorded 12 points and 14 rebounds and Gordon Hayward added 11 points.

Darren Collison scored 17 points to lead Dallas, which is without star Dirk Nowitzki (knee). Brendan Wright added 15 points and O.J. Mayo scored 12.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Mavericks were 10-for-16 from 3-point range in the first half but went just 1-for-6 in the second while scoring just 31 points. … Derrick Favors had 10 rebounds to give Utah three players in double digits on the boards. … Dallas center Chris Kaman (calf) missed his second straight game.
