: Joe Johnson scored nine of his 16 points in the final 4 1/2 minutes and visiting Atlanta rallied for its third consecutive come-from-behind victory.

Josh Smith just missed his fourth straight double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds as the Hawks erased a 16-point deficit late in the third quarter to win for the fifth time in six games.

Johnson's 3-pointer with 46 seconds to play gave Atlanta its first lead (93-92) since the first quarter and sent the Hawks to their 15th win in the last 16 meetings with the Wizards.

Nene had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Jordan Crawford added 20 points for the Wizards, who blew a 22-point lead against Indiana on Thursday and have lost seven of nine.

Nene, in his third game with Washington since a trade with Denver, hit back-to-back baskets to cap a 10-1 spurt as Washington built a 71-55 third-quarter lead before Atlanta cut the deficit to 78-68 entering the fourth

The Wizards had scored the first eight points of the second quarter to pull ahead 31-23 and extended the lead to 52-41 at halftime.

: Atlanta welcomed back two of its big men. C Zaza Pachulia started after missing one game and Vladimir Radmanovic (back) returned after a four-game absence. ... Edwin Ubiles, signed by Washington earlier in the month, is the first Siena player to appear in an NBA game. He scored 10 points. ... Wizards power forward Andray Blatche remained sidelined due to a conditioning stint.
