Center Spencer Hawes had 13 points and 11 rebounds to help Philadelphia dominate the backboards 51-31.

Gerald Henderson scored 14 points to pace Charlotte, which dropped to a league-worst 7-37 and was denied in its bid to win back-to-back games for the first time.

Holiday and Elton Brand triggered a run as the 76ers extended a two-point halftime lead to 14 late in the third quarter.

Philadelphia put the game away early in the fourth when Williams buried a 3-pointer and Hawes had five straight points in an 8-0 burst to built the lead to 90-69.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Bobcats forward Corey Maggette sat out with a back injury suffered in a fall during Saturday's win over Toronto. He is expected back for Friday's game against Milwaukee. Maggette, who was coming off consecutive 21-point outings, was replaced in the starting lineup by Reggie Williams. ... Lou Williams, who serves as the sixth man, continues to lead the team in scoring. The last non-starter to top his team in scoring was Dell Curry with the Charlotte Hornets in 1993-94. Curry is now a broadcaster with the Bobcats. ... Charlotte was swept in a series series by the 76ers for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
