ROCKETS 107, BOBCATS 87: Luis Scola scored 23 points as host Houston rolled past Charlotte.

Goran Dragic had 14 points and 10 assists, Jordan Hill added 14 points and eight rebounds and Samuel Dalembert had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets, who won their second straight contest.

Derrick Brown scored 15 points for the Bobcats, who dropped to 3-20 on the road.

The Rockets had a 50-40 advantage at halftime and began pulling away by scoring the first eight points of the third quarter. Houston led 86-57 entering the final quarter.

Chase Budinger added 10 points and nine rebounds for Houston, which outrebounded the Bobcats by a 46-30 margin.

Gerald Henderson, Corey Maggette, Byron Mullens and Reggie Williams all scored 10 points for Charlotte.

Houston led 30-18 after one quarter and boosted the lead to 38-20 on a layup by Hill with 8:48 remaining. The Bobcats followed with a 16-3 run to get back in the game. The Rockets led 50-40 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Houston guard Kevin Martin (shoulder) missed his second consecutive contest. ... Bobcats guard Kemba Walker had eight assists but scored just six points on 3-of-13 shooting. ... Hill missed Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma City with the flu. ... Charlotte shot just 40.7 percent from the field.
