Danny Granger scored a season-high 24 points as the Indiana Pacers dominated the second half en route to a 96-84 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

Roy Hibbert, David West and Lance Stephenson added 12 points apiece for the Pacers, who bounced back from a loss at Philadelphia on Monday.

Granger, who missed Monday’s game with food poisoning, entered Wednesday shooting 30.7 percent and averaging 14.9 points. The veteran swingman had little trouble against the Hawks, shooting 9 of 16 from the floor including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc.

Indiana led, 53-50, at the half but really locked down on defense in the third quarter, outscoring Atlanta 27-9 in the frame. Granger hit a pair of 3-pointers during a 14-2 burst to open the third and finished with 10 points in the frame.

To add a dagger at the end of the frame, center Jeff Foster launched a 27-foot shot as the clock hit zero, banging it through for his seventh career 3-pointer.

The Pacers led 80-59 after Foster’s 3-pointer and rested the starters in the fourth quarter.

Josh Smith scored 16 points for Atlanta, which shot 12 of 41 (29 percent) in the second half.
