Raja Bell chipped in 16 points and Devin Harris collected 14 points and seven assists for Utah (33-30), which is just 2-7 under new coach Tyrone Corbin.

The Kings (15-45) grabbed a quick lead with a 3-pointer in overtime, but the Jazz used a 14-4 run the rest of the way to pull out the win.

Marcus Thornton took over at the beginning of the fourth quarter, scoring seven points during an 11-2 spurt that put the Kings on top, 83-74.

Turnovers on three straight possessions by Sacramento allowed Utah to creep back into it, eventually tying it at 84-84 with 5:03 to play. Another turnover, this time on an offensive foul by Thornton, allowed the Jazz to retake the lead, 86-84, on Jefferson’s jumper.

Utah led, 95-92, with 14 seconds left when Thornton connected from behind the arc to send it to overtime.

Thornton finished with 22 points and DeMarcus Cousins recorded 18 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists for the Kings.
