Kobe Bryant scored 14 of his 31 points in a span of 2:25 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as Utah snapped the Lakers' five-game winning streak. The Jazz have won four in a row.

Bryant hit three 3-pointers, a two-pointer and sank three free throws after being fouled while shooting a 3-pointer, giving the Lakers a 96-91 lead. But Los Angeles, which squandered an 18-point lead in the second quarter, didn't score in the final 2:31 of the game.

Paul Millsap's basket cut the lead to three and Williams' 3-pointer tied the game with 1:17. On the Lakers' next possession, Bell knocked the ball away from Bryant near midcourt. Williams got to the ball and hit Bell for a layup with 1:03 to go.

Williams scored 29 points for the Jazz (12-5). Al Jefferson had 20.

Pau Gasol scored 21 points while Lamar Odom had 16 for the Lakers (13-3).
