Aaron Brooks scored 13 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Houston Rockets rally from a 10-point deficit to defeat the visiting Washington Wizards 100-93 on Monday.

Kevin Martin scored a game-high 20 points for Houston, which won its fifth straight game to reach the .500 mark (15-15) for the first time this season.

Kirk Hinrich scored 19 points for Washington (7-22). The Wizards matched a franchise record with their 15th straight road loss.

The Rockets outscored the Wizards 28-11 after falling behind by 10 early in the fourth quarter.

Washington led 82-72 after Nick Young’s 3-pointer with 10 minutes to play. But Houston answered with a 15-4 run, taking a one-point lead on Shane Battier’s 3-point play with 6:39 remaining.

The Rockets finished the game with an 8-0 run after Andray Blatche’s hoop had regained the lead for Washington at 93-92 with 3:31 remaining.

Battier scored 15 points, Luis Scola tallied 14 points and Jordan Hill contributed 13 points for Houston.

Young scored 18 points and Blatche had 17 points and 14 rebounds for Washington.
