Stephen Jackson scored 30 points and D.J. Augustin added 23 as the shorthanded Charlotte Bobcats posted a 110-98 victory over the visiting Sacramento Kings on Friday.

Gerald Henderson scored 10 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter for the Bobcats (26-32), who dressed just eight players due to Thursday’s separate trades of Gerald Wallace and Nazr Mohammed for five players.

Marcus Thornton, acquired from New Orleans on Wednesday for Carl Landry, scored 14 points for the Kings (14-42), who played without reigning Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans for a fifth straight game. The Kings, 1-2 on a road trip right out of the All-Star break, complete a brutal four-games in five-days stretch Saturday at Memphis.

Augustin scored 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting in the third period as Charlotte extended an eight-point halftime lead to 12 before settling for a 78-73 lead entering the fourth. The Bobcats pulled away in the final 12 minutes, pushing the edge to 99-84 on a Henderson layup with 5:18 to play.

Jackson scored 15 points and Augustin added 10 as the Bobcats forged a 52-44 lead at the half.

The Kings got 11 points and nine rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins but committed 10 of their 18 turnovers in the opening 24 minutes. Charlotte finished with just seven turnovers.
