Tyreke Evans scored 20 points, including a crucial jumper with a minute left to play, to lift the Sacramento Kings to an 86-81 win over the visiting New Jersey Nets on Friday night.

The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Kings (4-7). The last five losses had come at home.

The Nets led 46-43 at the break and the game was tied at 76 when Carl Landry hit a short jumper to give Sacramento a 78-76 lead with 4:15 to play.

After New Jersey cut the deficit to a point, DeMarcus Cousins hit the first of two free throws to extend the Sacramento lead to 81-79. Cousins missed the second attempt but Sacramento got the rebound and Evans hit a long jumper make it 83-79 with a minute left.

Travis Outlaw cut it to 83-81 with 27 seconds left with a 20-footer but Beno Udrih clinched it with a 3-pointer with three seconds to play.

New Jersey (4-8) was led by Kris Humphries with 18 points and Anthony Morrow with 17.

Landry had 15 points for the Kings.
