Hornets 105, Pistons 86: Ryan Anderson hit five 3-pointers while scoring 31 points off the bench as visiting New Orleans coasted to an easy victory.

Robin Lopez finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds and Al-Farouq Aminu added 12 and 14 for the Hornets, who have won three of their last four games.

Rodney Stuckey had 19 points and Greg Monroe added 17 and 11 rebounds for the Pistons, who struggled to just 35.8 percent shooting while snapping a brief two-game winning streak.

The Hornets used a 28-point second quarter to build up a 55-41 halftime lead and didn’t look back

New Orleans built the advantage out to 77-57 on a jumper by Greivis Vasquez late in the third quarter. The Pistons scored nine straight points during a fourth-quarter spurt to close within 94-82, but Anderson and Roger Mason nailed consecutive 3-pointers to keep the Hornets out in front.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Led by Anthony Davis’ four blocks, the Hornets totaled 10 for the game. … New Orleans nailed 13 of 14 free throws. … The Pistons were a dismal 5-of-19 from 3-point range.
