Grizzlies 99, Warriors 93:
Marc Gasol collected 20 points and 11 rebounds and Zach Randolph added 16 and 12 as Memphis took down visiting Golden State.

Tony Allen added 17 points and Jerryd Bayless had 14 off the bench for the Grizzlies, who avoided a three-game losing streak.

Stephen Curry exploded for 32 points and David Lee had 26 as the Warriors fell to 0-3 on their current four-game road trip. Jarrett Jack (shoulder) missed his second straight game.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Curry gave Golden State an 86-83 edge with 8:10 left in the game. But the Warriors missed their next five shots as Memphis jumped back on top, grabbing the lead for good on Mike Conley’s 3-pointer with 6:05 to play.

The Grizzlies led by as much as 49-35 in the second quarter after back-to-back 3-pointers from Bayless, before the Warriors recovered to cut it to 63-56 at the break. Curry and Klay Thompson each hit a 3-pointer during an 11-2 burst to start the third quarter that gave Golden State a brief lead.

It went back and forth for much of the third until Prince’s short jumper gave Memphis a 77-76 edge heading into the final frame.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Warriors will close out their road trip at the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday. … Golden State did not have a player other than Curry and Lee reach double figures in scoring. … The Warriors will likely be without C Andrew Bogut (ankle) on Saturday. The team has been keeping Bogut out of the second night of back-to-back games while he works his way into shape. … Bayless is averaging 18.4 points in five games since Rudy Gay was traded, up from his season average of seven points.
