Rowdy Tellez and Avisail Garcia homered, and four Brewers pitchers combined for a four-hitter as the visiting Milwaukee Brewers blanked the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-0 in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday.

It was a contrast to the first game, which Pittsburgh won 14-4, pounding out 19 hits in six innings.

Rookie left-hander Aaron Ashby, making his third and best major league start, pitched four three-hit innings, with four strikeouts and no walks. Brad Boxberger (5-3), Devin Williams and Hunter Strickland each pitched an inning.

Jace Peterson added an RBI single and walked and scored for the Brewers, who have won five of six.

Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller (3-10) pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs and nine hits, with three strikeouts and one walk.

In the fourth, Garcia -- who missed the previous two games after getting hit in the hand by a pitch Wednesday -- led off with a single to center. Omar Narvaez hit a ball off the wall in right but only got a single as Garcia hesitated and was closer to first than second when the ball landed and had to hustle to second.

After Luis Urias flied out, Peterson singled to right-center, driving in Garcia for a 1-0 Brewers lead. Lorenzo Cain beat out a potential double play grounder for a fielder's choice, allowing Narvaez to score to make it 2-0.

In the sixth against Chris Stratton, Peterson drew a one-out walk. Cain got a fluky single when his flare down the line in left was just fair as third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes and shortstop Kevin Newman tripped each other. Peterson scored when catcher Michael Perez's pickoff attempt to first went into right field, making it 3-0.

Tellez, pinch-hitting, lofted his sixth homer 445 feet over the stands in right and into the Allegheny River on a bounce, boosting the lead to 5-0.

Garcia's 21st homer, to left, made it 6-0 in the seventh.
