Tim Locastro drove in the winning run with a single to deep center field and the Arizona Diamondbacks overcame a four-run deficit for a 6-5, 11-inning victory over the visiting New York Mets on Saturday night, breaking a five-game losing streak.

Pinch hitter Kevin Cron doubled to open the 11th inning off Tyler Bashlor (0-3) and took third on Nick Ahmed's sacrifice bunt before Alex Avila was intentionally walked. The Mets played a five-man infield for Locastro, whose long fly ball drove in the winner.

Adam Jones had two hits, including his 12th homer, a two-run shot that capped a four-run eighth inning and tied the score at 5. Jarrod Dyson and Ildemaro Vargas also had two hits for Arizona.

Todd Frazier and Dominic Smith homered for the Mets, who lost for the fourth time in six games.

Yoshihisa Hirano (2-3) pitched around a two-out walk in the top of the 11th for the victory.

Arizona tied the score in the eighth inning against relievers Jeurys Familia and Robert Gsellman. Familia hit pinch hitter Locastro, and Dyson reached on a dribbler in front of the plate. Ketel Marte singled in a run and Eduardo Escobar hit a sacrifice fly before Gsellman entered and gave up a game-tying two-run homer to Jones.

Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom gave up one run and five hits in 6 2/3 innings, leaving when Arizona scored its first run on three hits in the seventh inning. He struck out seven and walked one. DeGrom has won only one of his past 10 starts despite five quality starts in that stretch.

Arizona right-hander Zack Greinke gave up four runs on seven hits in four innings, snapping his streak of 11 consecutive quality starts since Opening Day. He had two strikeouts and one walk.

Frazier's two-run homer in a three-run fourth inning off Greinke gave the Mets a 4-0 lead, and Smith's homer in the eighth made it 5-1. Smith and Pete Alonso had two hits for the Mets.
