Dansby Swanson and Austin Riley each smacked three-run homers as the Atlanta Braves sailed to a 9-2 victory over the host San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night.

Freddie Freeman added a solo blast and went 3-for-4 with a walk for the Braves, who won for the ninth time in their past 12 games.

Atlanta left-hander Max Fried (7-2) won his third straight start and became the National League's first seven-game winner. He allowed two runs and four hits over six innings, striking out five and walking two.

Right-handers Anthony Swarzak and Dan Winkler each pitched a perfect inning of relief. Righty Josh Tomlin gave up two hits in the ninth before fanning Brandon Crawford to end it.

Tyler Austin homered for San Francisco, which has dropped two of three in the four-game series that concludes Thursday.

Giants right-hander Jeff Samardzija (2-3) allowed six runs -- all unearned -- in six innings. He gave up four hits, walked two and struck out seven.

Samardzija's error and a wild pitch on a strikeout set up Atlanta's six-run second inning.

Riley was hit by a pitch to start the frame, and he reached second safely when Samardzija made a wild throw on Ozzie Albies' grounder with one out. Matt Joyce followed with a single to load the bases.

Fried's fielder's choice plated the first run, and the second scored after Ronald Acuna Jr. struck out on the errant pitch by Samardzija. Albies scored to make it 2-0.

Swanson followed by drilling a first-pitch cutter 420 feet over the fence in left-center. Freeman then clubbed the second pitch he saw over the fence in center to make it 6-0.

San Francisco got on the board in the fourth when Austin scored from second on Buster Posey's line single off the right field wall. Nick Markakis barehanded the ball and gunned Posey out trying for second.

Austin pulled the Giants within 6-2 with two outs in the sixth when he hit an opposite-field shot over the wall in right.

Atlanta pulled away in the seventh inning. Acuna drew a leadoff walk against left-hander Derek Holland, and Swanson followed with a single. Two outs later, Riley slugged the first pitch over the fence in left for his fourth homer in eight big league games to make it 9-2.
