Lucas Giolito scattered three hits over a season-high 7 1/3 innings, and Yoan Moncada continued to torment the Cleveland Indians as the visiting Chicago White Sox posted a 2-0 victory on Tuesday.

Moncada had an RBI single in the third inning, giving him six hits -- including two homers -- to go along with eight RBIs and five runs in four games against the Indians this season. The 23-year-old belted a two-run homer and drove in four runs Monday in Chicago's 9-1 shellacking of Cleveland in opener of the four-game series.

James McCann added an RBI single in the sixth inning to cap his two-hit performance on Tuesday for the White Sox, who have won seven of their past 11 games.

Francisco Lindor recorded three singles and Jason Kipnis had a pair of doubles, but the rest of the Indians' lineup went 0-for-22 with nine strikeouts. Cleveland has been outscored 21-1 during a three-game losing skid.

Giolito (3-1) induced two harmless flyouts to strand a runner on third base in the fourth inning, and he fanned Carlos Santana for one of his eight strikeouts to end another scoring threat in the sixth. The right-hander walked three.

The quality start was Giolito's first since his season debut on March 31 and helped the 24-year-old avenge a pair of outings against Cleveland last year in which he posted an 0-2 mark with a 7.36 ERA.

Jace Fry loaded the bases with two outs in the eighth inning before being relieved by Alex Colome, who saw Santana belt a long foul ball before striking him out to end the inning. Colome fanned two more in the ninth for his seventh save.

Cleveland surrendered the first run for the seventh straight contest. Yolmer Sanchez ripped a double to lead off the third inning and scored after Moncada sent a 1-0 fastball from Jefry Rodriguez (0-2) to left field for an RBI single.

Chicago added to its slim advantage in similar fashion in the sixth. Jose Abreu belted a leadoff double before coming around to score after McCann's seeing-eye single to left field.
