PHOENIX -- Arizona right fielder Mark Trumbo collected four hits and four RBIs to help the Diamondbacks overcome an injury to starter Archie Bradley in a 12-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday at Chase Field.

Bradley, a rookie right-hander, was struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of Rockies right fielder Carlos Gonzalez with one out in the second inning and forced to leave. Bradley, who never lost consciousness, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for further testing. The extent of his injury was unknown.

Trumbo tripled home two runs in the first inning and hit a two-run homer in the fifth to give the Diamondbacks an 8-3 lead. He is tied for the NL lead with three triples, and he finished a double short of his first career cycle.

First baseman Paul Goldschmidt had three hits and three RBIs, and left fielder David Peralta hit a two-run homer as the Diamondbacks (9-11) set a season high in runs while breaking a four-game losing streak.

Center fielder Charlie Blackmon had three hits and two RBIs for the Rockies (11-9), who had won four of five.

Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau finished with three hits, and shortstop Troy Tulowitzki hit an RBI single.

Arizona rookie Andrew Chafin (1-0) pitched 2 2/3 innings of two-run ball in relief of Bradley for his first career victory.

Diamondbacks third baseman Yasmany Tomas had two hits, including his first double, and drove in his first run.

Center fielder A.J. Pollock, shortstop Chris Owings and Goldschmidt combined to produce the Diamondbacks' first run in the first inning before Trumbo tripled home two for a 3-0 Arizona lead.

Second baseman DJ LeMahieu's single off Chafin to drive in a run to make the score 3-1.

Blackmon doubled in one run and Tulowitzki singled in another as the Rockies tied the score at 3 in the fourth inning.

Peralta's third homer of the season made it 5-3 in the fourth inning.

Trumbo homered and infielder Aaron Hill drove in a run on a groundout for an 8-3 lead in the fifth inning.
