Padres 7, Giants 2: Alexi Amarista went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and rookie Jesse Hahn struck out eight over six innings as visiting San Diego rolled past San Francisco for the second straight game.

Tommy Medica added a solo homer and Cameron Maybin had two hits and scored twice for the Padres, who have outscored the Giants 13-2 in the first two games of the series. Hahn (3-1) held the Giants without a hit through the first four innings and recorded his third straight win while yielding two runs on four hits and one walk.

Tim Hudson (7-4) allowed six runs (four earned) on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings for San Francisco, which has lost 11 of its last 14 games. The Giants snapped a 14-inning scoreless streak against the Padres in the fifth when Pablo Sandoval hit a leadoff single and later scored on Tyler Colvin’s groundout to cut the deficit to 3-1.

Hudson allowed the first four batters to reach base in the sixth before Maybin singled in a run and Amarista followed with a two-run single. After the Giants pulled within 6-2 on Buster Posey’s RBI double in the sixth, Medica answered with a pinch-hit homer off Javier Lopez in the eighth.

Hudson, who allowed seven runs over 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Chicago White Sox in his last start, fell behind early when Maybin and Amarista began the third inning with back-to-back singles and Maybin scored on Will Venable’s sacrifice fly. The loss was the Giants’ first in Hudson’s eight starts at home.
