Giants 5, Phillies 2: Michael Morse went 3-for-3 and scored twice as San Francisco rolled past visiting Philadelphia in the rubber match of a three-game series.

Rookie Andrew Susac added two hits, including a go-ahead RBI single in the fourth off David Buchanan (6-7), who allowed three runs (two earned) over 6 2/3 innings. Tim Lincecum (10-8) yielded two runs over five frames and Santiago Casilla worked a perfect ninth for his 10th save for the Giants, who pulled within 3 1/2 games of first-place Los Angeles in the National League West.

Ben Revere and Cody Asche had three hits apiece for Philadelphia, which lost for the fifth time in its last six games. San Francisco, which has won three of its last four, posted consecutive wins at home for the first time since winning five in a row from May 27-June 8.

The Phillies got on the board in the first as Jimmy Rollins drew a one-out walk and scored on Chase Utley’s triple to the right-center field gap. The Giants answered with two runs in the second when Brandon Crawford delivered a two-out RBI single and Susac came around to score on right fielder Marlon Byrd’s throwing error.

Philadelphia pulled even in the third as Asche drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs, but the Giants began the fourth with three straight base hits, including Susac’s RBI single to center. San Francisco added two insurance runs in the eighth and held on for their first series win at AT&T Park since July 11-13.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Morse has nine hits in his last 12 at-bats for the Giants, who completed their second winning homestand (3-2) since the beginning of June. … The Phillies, who have lost 12 of their last 18 games against San Francisco, begin a nine-game homestand against Seattle on Monday. … Lincecum snapped a five-start winless streak despite walking four batters, two below his season high.
