Marlins 5, Phillies 4: Christian Yelich scored on a wild pitch to cap a wild four-run rally in the ninth inning as visiting Miami defeated Philadelphia to snap a four-game losing streak.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia started the inning with a double off Jonathan Papelbon (2-3) before a walk and an Adeiny Hechavarria single loaded the bases. A fielder’s choice and Yelich’s infield hit each brought home a run and Justin Bour’s pinch-hit RBI single tied it before Papelbon uncorked a wild pitch for the go-ahead run.

Kike Hernandez homered, Anthony DeSclafani (2-2) got the final out in the eighth for the win and Steve Cishek worked out of trouble in the ninth for his career-high 35th save. Maikel Franco, Chase Utley and Carlos Ruiz each knocked in a run while Ben Revere and Ryan Howard added two hits apiece for the Phillies.

Franco’s broken-bat RBI single opened the scoring in the third before Hernandez tied it in the top of the fourth with his solo shot to right. The Phillies answered in their half of the fourth as Utley led off with his double and scored on Domonic Brown’s double-play grounder before Ruiz served an RBI single to left for a 3-1 lead.

Revere singled to lead off the eighth, moved to third after stealing second and seeing the throw sail into center field, and scored on a fielder’s choice grounder by Utley. The Phillies put the first two batters on in the ninth before Cishek struck out the next three to end the contest.
