Mets 9, Marlins 1: Curtis Granderson had three hits and scored twice while rookie Jacob deGrom fanned eight over seven strong innings as New York routed Miami to complete a three-game home sweep.

It was the second victory in as many starts for deGrom (3-5), who yielded a run on five hits and two walks while adding the go-ahead RBI single in the fourth inning. David Wright and Chris Young each had two RBIs while Wright, Lucas Duda and Juan Lagares had two hits apiece for New York, which enters the All-Star break with wins in seven of its last eight games.

Brad Hand (0-2) saw his winless streak extended to 21 appearances – including six starts – and left the game with a bruised shin before the start of the fifth after giving up three runs on six hits. Marcell Ozuna plated Casey McGehee with a two-out single as the Marlins (44-50) lost their fourth straight contest and fell into fourth place behind the Mets (45-50) in the National League East.

New York struck first as Young delivered a sacrifice fly in the second before Ozuna beat out a grounder to short to even it in the fourth. The Mets took the lead back for good in the bottom half, however, as Ruben Tejada was intentionally walked with two outs and a runner on first ahead of deGrom, who grounded up the middle to score Young.

Moments later, Granderson plated Tejada with a ground-rule double and Lagares made it 4-1 in the fifth when his liner turned Ozuna around in center and sailed over his head. Granderson singled off reliever Jacob Turner in the sixth and scored on Wright’s two-out double before the Mets tacked on four more runs in the eighth on Wright’s bases-loaded walk and three run-scoring singles.

GAME NOTEBOOK: According to ESPNNewYork.com, Wright (bruised left rotator cuff and inflammation) will receive a cortisone injection on Sunday and spend the All-Star break “out west” to let the shot to take effect. … Granderson was initially ruled out at home on Wright’s sixth-inning single, but second base umpire Will Little overturned the call by home plate umpire Paul Schrieber when he ruled that Miami shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria obstructed the path of Granderson as he was rounding second. … deGrom, who posted his first career win against the Marlins on June 21, is 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA in two outings versus Miami and 1-4 with a 3.77 ERA in his 10 other starts.
