Marlins 4, Phillies 0: Casey McGehee ripped a two-run double in the first and Nathan Eovaldi tossed 6 1/3 solid innings as Miami posted a rare victory in the City of Brotherly Love.

Derek Dietrich joined McGehee with two hits and had an RBI single in the ninth for the Marlins, who recorded their second win in six outings overall and 10th in their last 36 meetings in Philadelphia. Reed Johnson added a pinch-hit RBI single in the win.

Cody Asche collected three hits to improve to 6-for-15 since returning from the disabled list for the Phillies, who have dropped three in a row and have been shut out 10 times this season. Roberto Hernandez (3-6) suffered the loss after permitting two runs on three hits with six strikeouts in as many innings.

Miami got the early jump as McGehee deposited a 1-1 sinker from Hernandez off the wall in right-center field to plate Dietrich and Giancarlo Stanton in the first inning. Johnson provided insurance in the ninth with a soft fly to left to score Jeff Baker before Dietrich singled to right to plate Ed Lucas.

After struggling in his two previous outings, Eovaldi (5-3) allowed six hits and struck out two to improve to 2-0 versus Philadelphia this season. Three relievers bridged the gap to Chris Hatcher, who sealed the win by retiring the side in the ninth.
