Marlins 14, Phillies 5:
Marcell Ozuna hit a grand slam and scored three runs to highlight Miami's 14-hit attack in a comfortable home win against Philadelphia.

Ozuna finished with five RBIs and was one of four Marlins to score multiple times, joining Derek Dietrich (three runs), Garrett Jones (three) and Ed Lucas (two). Dietrich doubled and tripled while Christian Yelich had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for Miami.

The first part of the Marlins' offensive onslaught came against Kyle Kendrick (0-5), who has not won since last August. Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi (3-2) overcame 10 hits in his six innings of work, allowing three runs - one earned - to lower his ERA to 3.41.

The Marlins answered two early runs by the Phillies with a pair in the bottom of the first and another in the third before Philadelphia drew even at 3 in the fourth. Ozuna's RBI single in the bottom half of the fourth put Miami ahead to stay.

Yelich added an RBI single later in the fourth and contributed a run-scoring triple in the sixth before Ozuna clubbed his grand slam against Jeff Manship. Domonic Brown's two-run homer in the eighth inning provided a brief glimmer of hope for Philadelphia before Luis Garcia surrendered four more runs in the ninth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The grand slam was Ozuna's first in the major leagues. ... Kendrick allowed six runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings and has not won in his last 16 starts. ... The game marked a season highs for runs scored by the Marlins and runs allowed by the Phillies.
