Dodgers 4, Giants 3: Hanley Ramirez delivered a tie-breaking RBI single in the fifth inning among his two hits and visiting Los Angeles completed a three-game sweep of San Francisco.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-5) allowed three runs while striking out seven over six frames and two relievers bridged the gap to Kenley Jansen, who worked a perfect ninth for his 30th save. Matt Kemp had two hits while Carl Crawford and Juan Uribe each drove in runs for Los Angeles, which moved 1 1/2 games ahead of the Giants in the National League West.

Jake Peavy (1-10) yielded four runs (three earned) over six innings in his first start for the Giants since being acquired from Boston on Saturday. Buster Posey blasted a solo homer for San Francisco, which has lost four in a row overall and 19 of its last 25 home games.

Brandon Crawford’s two-out RBI single put the Giants ahead 2-1 in the fourth before the Dodgers scored three times in the fifth after capitalizing on two Peavy wild pitches. Dee Gordon alertly scored from third after Adrian Gonzalez was thrown out at first on a strike three in the dirt and Ramirez followed with an RBI single before Carl Crawford capped the rally with an RBI triple.

Posey recorded the Giants’ first extra-base hit in 31 innings when he deposited Ryu's 3-0 offering into the left-field seats with two outs in the fifth. The Dodgers were held without a hit after Carl Crawford’s triple in the fifth but held on for their first sweep of the Giants at AT&T Park since July 27-29, 2012.

GAME NOTEBOOK: 2B Dan Uggla committed two errors and has three in his first three games since joining the Giants on Friday. … Posey’s homer was the first allowed by Ryu since July 2, ending a streak of 22 1/3 innings. … SS Brandon Crawford snapped a 1-for-10 skid with two hits for San Francisco, which fell to 42-12 when scoring first.
