Rockies 9, Rangers 2: Nolan Arenado extended his hitting streak to 27 games with three hits and drove in two runs as visiting Colorado continued its assault on Texas pitching.

Carlos Gonzalez, who was 5-for-5 on Tuesday, homered among his two hits in this one for the Rockies, who had 16 hits - all in the first five innings - to give them 37 in their last two games. D.J. LeMahieu (RBI triple) had three hits, and Charlie Blackmon (RBI) and Drew Stubbs added two apiece as Colorado improved to 9-2 in its last 11 contests.

Jorge De La Rosa (4-3) earned his fourth straight victory after yielding two runs and three hits in six innings to help the Rockies win their third in a row over the Rangers after outscoring them 20-3 in victories at Coors Field on Monday and Tuesday. Corey Dickerson drove in two runs for Colorado.

Adrian Beltre belted his 378th career homer and 100th in a Rangers uniform - a two-run shot to make it 7-2 in the fourth, but couldn't prevent Texas from losing for the eighth time in its last 10 contests. Colby Lewis (2-2) yielded seven runs and 12 hits in 3 1/3 innings as Rangers' starters have an 11.57 ERA in the last three games.

Arenado, who Tuesday kept his streak alive with a double off the left-field line in his final at-bat, wasted no time in this one with a two-run double in the first after Troy Tulowitzki singled and Gonzalez doubled with two outs. Colorado blew it open with five runs in the fourth, highlighted by Gonzalez's seventh homer of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arenado's hitting streak - the longest active run in the majors - shares the club record with teammate Michael Cuddyer, who accomplished the feat last season. ... Tulowitzki, who went 1-for-4 to drop his major league-leading average from .421 to .414, is hitting .608 at home and .250 on the road. ... Beltre (Los Angeles, Seattle, Texas) joined Alex Rodriguez (Seattle, Texas, N.Y. Yankees), Jim Thome (Cleveland, Philadelphia, Chicago White Sox), Reggie Jackson (Kansas City/Oakland, N.Y.
