Giants 3, Reds 2: Michael Morse and Juan Perez homered during a three-run sixth inning as San Francisco posted a rare victory in Cincinnati.

Perez finished with two hits and Brandon Hicks scored a run for the Giants, who had lost 11 of their previous 12 games at Great American Ball Park. Ryan Vogelsong (4-2) allowed two runs and seven hits with nine strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings to extend his unbeaten streak to four starts and Sergio Romo pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 18th save.

Billy Hamilton collected three hits and Todd Frazier went deep for the Reds, who had their four-game winning streak halted. Tony Cingrani (2-6) lost his fourth straight start as he yielded three runs and six hits in 5 2/3 frames.

Cincinnati opened the scoring in the third inning as Frazier belted a 2-2 offering from Vogelsong over the left-field wall for a one-out solo homer. Brandon Phillips and Jay Bruce followed with back-to-back doubles to give the Reds a 2-0 lead.

San Francisco used the long ball to jump ahead in the sixth. Morse deposited Cingrani's first pitch over the fence in left-center with one out and Hicks singled before Perez lined a shot to left for his second homer in 56 major-league games and a 3-2 edge.
