Giants 3, Braves 1: Brandon Belt, Buster Posey and Michael Morse homered as visiting San Francisco won for the eighth time in nine games.

Belt, Posey and Morse connected on solo shots off Julio Teheran (2-2) as the Giants scored all their runs on solo homers for the second consecutive contest. Ryan Vogelsong (1-1) held Atlanta to one run on five hits and four walks with six strikeouts in six innings, and Sergio Romo pitched the ninth for his ninth save.

Teheran went seven innings, surrendering three runs on four hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. The Braves left seven runners on base in losing their fifth in a row and have scored nine runs during the skid.

Belt led off the second with his eighth homer of the season but the Braves evened the score at 1-1 in the third on B.J. Upton’s double, scoring Jason Heyward. Posey put the Giants back on top leading off the fourth, hitting a 1-1 Teheran offering over the wall in left-center for his seventh homer of the season.

Morse homered for the second consecutive game leading of the seventh, his eighth of the season making it 3-1 and extending a five-game hitting streak. Posey finished 2-for-4, the only player on either team to collect more than one hit.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Braves had not lost five in a row since an eight-game skid May 21-28, 2012. … Heyward, who stole two bases in 104 games last season, swiped his fifth base in the second. … Hunter Pence went 0-for-4, ending his 10-game hitting streak.
