Orioles 8, Yankees 0: Chris Tillman tossed seven scoreless innings to outduel New York ace Masahiro Tanaka as visiting Baltimore took two of three in the series.

Jonathan Schoop and Caleb Joseph both homered while J.J. Hardy recorded a three-run double for the Orioles, who finished off a 4-2 road trip. Tillman (6-4), who entered with a 9.62 ERA in six career starts in Yankee Stadium, yielded four hits and four walks while striking out two to win for the first time in four June starts.

Tanaka (11-2) had a personal five-game winning streak snapped after giving up a season high-tying three earned runs on six hits in seven innings. The star right-hander struck out six while his ERA rose to 2.11 and he failed to become baseball's first 12-game winner.

Both starters worked out of first-inning jams before Schoop hammered a 2-2 offering from Tanaka to left to make it 1-0 in the second. Baltimore's seventh inning began with a single from Hardy and a double by Manny Machado before Schoop's grounder to shortstop pushed across the game's second run.

Joseph followed with a sacrifice fly for a 3-0 lead and the Orioles broke it open against reliever Adam Warren in the next frame, loading the bases on two singles and a walk before Hardy's double to right cleared them. Machado chipped in a run-scoring single and Joseph went deep in the ninth for his first career homer as Baltimore rolled to its eighth win in its last 11 away from home.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Yankees hosted the 68th annual Old-Timers' Day on Sunday, featuring appearances by Hall of Famers Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Rickey Henderson and Reggie Jackson. Goose Gossage was honored with a Monument Park plaque. ... Hardy has multiple hits in six of his last nine games. ... Baltimore returns home to host the Chicago White Sox for three games beginning Monday, while New York opens a three-game set at Toronto.
