Marlins 2, Diamondbacks 1:
Marcell Ozuna delivered a two-run homer with two out in the top of the ninth inning as Miami rallied to even the series with host Arizona.

Ed Lucas walked to begin the ninth and Addison Reed (1-5) struck out Giancarlo Stanton and retired Casey McGhee on a liner before Ozuna belted a 2-2 fastball over the wall in center field for his 15th homer. The blast spoiled the Diamondbacks debut of Vidal Nuno, who struck out seven and yielded three hits in seven scoreless innings.

Mike Dunn (7-4) recorded the final out in the eighth and Steve Cishek pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 20th save in 22 chances. Brad Hand allowed an unearned run and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings for Miami, which won for only the second time in its last eight games at Chase Field.

Nuno began the fifth by reaching on Miami third baseman Casey McGehee's second error of the game and advanced to second on a bunt single by Ender Inciarte. Aaron Hill followed with a sharp single to left as Nuno scored his first career run before Paul Goldschmidt hit into a double play and Cody Ross grounded out two batters later.

Nuno retired the last six batters he faced - and 10 of the last 11 - before yielding to Brad Ziegler. Adeiny Hechavarria led off the Miami eighth with an infield hit and Ziegler induced pinch-hitter Reed Johnson to hit into a 1-6-3 double play before retiring Christian Yelich on a groundout.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Goldschmidt has reached base safely in 29 straight games after walking and adding his major league-leading 34th double. ... Nuno, who was acquired from the New York Yankees on Sunday, became the Diamondbacks' 10th starting pitcher this season - one more than they used in both 2012 and 2013 and two shy of the club record set in 2004 and matched in 2010. ... Nuno executed a sacrifice in his first career at-bat in the second inning and did it again in the sixth - both times moving runners to second and third with two out.
